(TraNews) – Riding the bike under big sunshine, surely everyone would crave for a glass of pearl milk tea. Pearl milk tea might be the symbolic food of Taiwan. Most of the people acquaint with Taiwan via this beverage. If you visit Taiwan, you can see tea shops everywhere and people hold beverages in their hands in any time of hours.

There are 2 shops claiming to be the founder of pearl milk tea. Some said it was founded in 1986 in Tainan, while others claimed it was founded in 1983 in Taichung. No matter who invented the wonderful drink, the beverage has made Taiwan famous and you can see the beverage in a lot of places in the world.

At first, pearl milk tea was only provided in upscale tea restaurant and was rather expensive. It could cost up to 100 dollars for a glass of milk tea. However, after the beverage went popular around Taiwan, a lot of tea shops in Taiwan started to provide the drink.

People nowadays come up with a lot of innovative ideas and practice in the making of pearl milk tea. There are different kinds of flavors of pearls, such as yam, roselle, green tea or taro. Customers now have various of choices to enjoy the flavorsome beverage. You can probably say that pearl milk tea makes the world of beverage colorful. Let the pearls dance on your tongue and milk tea slip through your taste buds. Have a glass of pearl milk tea and immerse in the wonderful Taiwanese culture!
