PENGHU, TAIWAN (TraNews) – Jindo Island in South Korea is internationally renowned thanks to this magical seaway, called as the modern Moses’ Miracle. “Jindo’s Mysterious Seaway” or “Moses’ Miracle” is a fascinating natural phenomenon that occurs twice a year on the last day of February and in the middle of June of the lunar calendar. The waters around the island of Jindo will recede to reveal a long, winding path connecting Jindo and Modo Islands and this seaway is formed because of the great difference between the ebb and flow of the tide.
If you want to witness such a marvelous natural phenomenon, you don’t have to travel all the way to South Korea anymore! Taiwan version of “Moses’ Miracle” now can be seen in Huxi Township of Penghu County. This magical seaway in Huxi Township happens every day regardless of seasons and takes place between Kueibi Mountain and Chihyu Isle. The path is roughly 500 meters in length. It is worth mentioning that visitors can be expected to see many marine creatures along the way.
