YUNLIN, TAIWAN (TraNews) – Beigang Township in Yunlin County is always filled the sense of religious culture. For most of pilgrims and tourists who want to worship the god of wealth, they will usually think of Wude Temple in Beigang.

Wude Temple in Beigang is dedicated to the martial god of wealth. Covered a broad area, Wude Temple has gone through several expansions. The temple is known as its extravagant temple architecture and exquisitely decorated with refined carvings.

In addition the martial god of wealth, the temple is also for worship of the Jade Emperor, Emperor Wencheng and other well-known Taoist deities. Since the temple is dedicated to the martial god of wealth, of course, it has been heavily visited by pilgrims and visits from across the island, praying and presenting their offerings at the altar.

The most eye-catching feature is a five-tier tall furnace located outside the temple, which shapes like a barn. During the weekend, the temple has always attracted a large influx of pilgrims and tourists here, praying for fortune, wealth or other reasons.
