(TraNews) –Gray-faced Buzzard Eagle immigrates to the south every year in October to Kenting area and it flies back to the north in March. On its way back to the north, it will make a stop in Bagua Mt., Changhua. The peak seasons of seeing Gray-faced Buzzard Eagle are the third and fourth week of March; during this time of the year, a lot of people gathering to Bagua Mt. to seize the rare chance.
Aside from seeing Gray-faced Buzzard Eagle, you can also spot Crested Serpent Eagle, Crested Goshawk, Besra Sparrow Hawk, etc.
【Best timing of watching Gray-faced Buzzard Eagle 】
You can see Gray-faced Buzzard Eagle from early in the morning till nightfall. The Gray-faced Buzzard Eagles will fly along with hot air stream and create a magnificent scene. At about 12 o’clock in the noon, Gray-faced Buzzard Eagles don’t really take a break and make a short stop in Bagua Mt., therefore, you can see numerous of eagles fly past the mountain in fast speed. However, those eagles arrive at 3 or 4 in the afternoon are exhausted and about to take a break. It is the best timing watching the eagles. They will hover in the air and fine a perfect tree to perch.
