Taomi Village is located in south Puli in Nantou County, and it is on the way to Sun Moon Lake. The village is 1km away from National Chi Nan University and 430m-800m above sea level. The place is only 1/2000 of the total area of Taiwan but gathers 29 species of frogs, 143 kinds of dragonflies and 150 species of birds.
Wetlands are considered the most biologically diverse of all ecosystem. TsaoNan Wetland is the biggest wetland in Taomi Village. Visitors can see over 40 kinds of birds, 15 types of frogs and 26 species of dragonflies all year round. There is a walking trail beside the river where you can head to the park.
