By TraNews Reporter Chiu, Wei Cheng KAOHSIUNG COUNTY, Taiwan (TraNews) - A documentary “Bridge Over Troubled Water” will release on September 6. This documentary describe that Jiasian’s residents reconstructed their home after Typhoon Morakot. Students of Jiasian Elementary School Tug of War Team worked very hard for winning tug-of-war competition. Adults are encouraged by students’ effort so everyone has courage to overcome difficulties and reconstruct their house.
Kaohsiung City Government cooperates with this movie in order to promote Jiasian traveling. It has a deep trip route for visitors. This route will introduce the local culture, custom, food and so on. Traveling in Jiasian is divided into four groups. Each group only recruits 20 people. The tour will bring visitors travel around Jiasian in 2 days trip. Tour guide will not only introduce history but take visitors to pick Guava, dig Bamboo shoots, make taro cookies and play tug-of-war. In the end of trip, it will go to Xiao Lín Park to see a monument let visitors understand the meaning of trip.
