By TraNews Reporter Li, Kuan I KAOHSIUNG CITY, Taiwan (TraNews) - Joan Miro Exhibition is in Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts from now to January 8th 2014. The topic of exhibition is “Women, Birds, and Stars” and the paintings were created in era of 1960s to 1970s. Let’s go to see Miro’s childlike world and explore the mysterious universe.
Miro, Visual Poet, is a Spanish master of twentieth century modern art. He was also known as "the most Surrealist painter." Women, birds, and stars are pleasing but hard to understand because Miro stressed that he painted a woman not as creatures, but a universe. Flying bird is link to the land and sky. Shining star may represent unattainable outer world and can be seen as cosmic mark against dark. Miro's artistic expression is a highly personalized experience feeling. He uses self-contained symbols to show the world of his mind.
Go to the Museum of Fine Arts not only could view the beautiful colorful Miro world, but also participate in many exciting activities. For example, it has DIY course, city art seminar and more. Do not miss this exhibition in Kaohsiung.
